Organisation

The School Group is composed of 3 pre-school classes, 12 elementary classes, 5 levels (4 classes) for deaf students where classes are taught using sign language (American) and 3 classes for Down Syndrome students.

For the past 10 years, Les Cajoutiers Association has been carrying out projects thanks to the generous donors and sponsors, but also thanks to an efficient management team present in the field. It employs more than 50 Senegalese people, sensitizing an entire region (from Pointe Sarène to Grand Mbour).

The functioning of our school is essentially guaranteed by sponsorships and donations.

School life

We want to involve parents as much as possible in the life of the school and the schooling of their children.

A symbolic contribution of 9000 CFA is requested from the parents at the time of registration, then 1500 CFA per month.

Tuition fees cover during a school year :

  • Schooling, school supplies

The cost is 25 euros per month for a hearing student, a deaf student or a Down syndrome student.

The sponsorship for the care of a child at the boarding house "Foyer des Cajous" is 75 euros per month. This includes all the support: housing, meals, and snacks, clothing, charges, school supervision, the salary of employees, outings.

The complete care of a deaf child (boarding school and school) is 100 euros per month.

School transportation

We have 5 buses that provide school pickup morning and evening in a radius between the town of Mbour in the north and Pointe Sarene in the south.
